Professor Andrew Turpin is moving on to westerly pastures, as Chair of Ophthalmic Data, Lions Eye Institute. This means MDAP is seeking a new Director.
About the role
Location: Parkville
Role type: Part-time (0.4 – 0.5 FTE negotiable); Fixed-term (secondment opportunity) until December 2023 with possibility for extension
Salary: As per current Level D or E Academic Specialist salary (pro rata) plus 17% super
The Director of MDAP provides academic leadership of the team, ensuring high quality and appropriate research is undertaken, the academic career path for MDAP staff is enhanced, and that MDAP maintains a high profile nationally and internationally as an employee of choice. The director also oversees operations of the platform, directly supervising the Platform Manager and senior academic staff.
